Expert Opinion (1978)

Concept and creative process

For ‘Expert Opinion’ a sequence of still shots of doors and nameplates, representative of all walks of society from government to industry, from the law to education, from the NHS to the trades unions, ended with a nameplate of the programme title on a door which opened to admit the viewer. All of the stills were montaged together in a rostrum camera shoot to create the titles for this nightly discussion programme on key issues of the day.
