Titles for ‘The Enigma Files’, a detective drama series, starring Tom Adams as Detective Chief Inspector Nick Lewis, with Sharon Maughan as Kate Burton. Written by Derek Ingrey, it was about DCI Nick Lewis, side-lined from regular duties, who was now charged with filing records and evidence. In the course of these routine duties, he began to take a personal interest in unsolved crimes. Designer Joanna Ball (now Lane) used the box file as a vehicle to introduce the leading character and co-stars and in a smooth transition into the opening scene.
