Opening titles for a three-part dramatisation of the life of Karl Marx’s daughter Eleanor. The title sequence was filmed on a rostrum camera and composed of specially shot photographic portraits of the important men in her life, combined in-camera with a portrait of Eleanor whose photograph was held predominantly foreground by a matte.
