Concept and creative process
Dick Emery starred in his own comedy sketch show, with special guests. The titles for this show began with the programme logo build-up and a zoom into the ‘O’ of ‘SHOW’, which became a decorative vignette for a sequence of still photographs of Dick Emery in the guise of some of his many comedic character roles. The sequence was filmed entirely on a rostrum camera and ended with a colour still of the comedian wearing the show T-shirt.
