Daily Politics (2006)

Concept and creative process

Opening titles for the current affairs programme that looks at the political stories of the day. Designer Jonathan Barrett explains more: "This was a redesign for the long-running Daily and Sunday Politics magazine programmes. The redesign was commissioned by the new editor of the programmes Robbie Gibb who wanted a distinctive look which would be entertaining, memorable and not dry. The model was created in Cinema 4D software and represents many aspects of the UK political process which creates the name of the programme in a Heath-Robinson kind of way! I wanted to make it detailed so that the viewer might see new things each time it’s viewed." Production: After Effects / Cinema 4D
