Concept and creative process
A promo for a short series of ‘Conversation Piece’. The Sculpture Season began with ten personal views of modern works in public places by different critics. A stone slab was used as background texture with an animation of red and green paper petals in stop frame. The shadow of branches waving subtly was laid over as a percentage matte run. The top animation level had text as a matte with panning textures inserted and sound waves created on Paintbox. Edited and composited on Quantel Hal by John Salisbury.
