Titles for a series of zany quiz programmes on science, hosted by Kenny Everett. Designer Michael Graham-Smith used the patterns of a plasma ball to create an aura around a CGI globe that is generating the ‘Brainstorm’ logo from electrodes inside its vacuum. As the camera pulls back from the globe, a topshot of a plasma ball enters frame inside a circular vignette. Live shots of the contestants are displayed inside it, separated by flash cuts of the ‘Brainstorm’ logo in sync with the voice-over and music.
