A simple and short opening title sequence for the long-running gameshow Blankety Blank. The animation sequence was created using back-lit kodaliths on a light box and shot frame by frame using a rostrum camera on 35mm film. The streaking effect created is called slit-scan. This technique was famously used in the original 'Doctor Who' titles.
