Titles for ‘The Birds Fall Down’, a BBC Two classic serial by Rebecca West, dramatised by Ken Taylor. For the titles Ros Dallas filmed a time lapse sequence of a pure white rose unfurling to full bloom and then fading and decaying. She used the blossoming of the flower as an image in its own right, whereas the fading and decaying flower she encapsulated in a heart-shaped crystal in a film optical.
