Concept and creative process
A dirty black speck is visible in the middle of the screen. The 2 notices it, and goes to clean it, by breathing on it and then rubbing off the condensation and the spot with his hand, before returning to his position. This ident was used continuously from 2002 until 2018, when a new BBC Two channel identity was launched.
