Concept and creative process
This ident was created in the era of the BBC2 'Personality' idents (2001-2007). Every element of the ident was created and computer animated in a 3D yellow environment, in which the ivory-coloured ‘2’ could adopt different personalities. In this ident a ‘2’ slides onto one end of a see-saw. A second ‘2’ then lands from a great height on the other end, propelling the first ‘2’ to fly up in the air and land on top of a swaying stack of eight ‘2’s, all balancing precariously on a sphere.
