Concept and creative process
An ident to mark the BBC's coverage of Mars Pathfinder. Nasa scientists freed a robot from the space probe allowing it to begin its exploration of the Red Planet. The concept uses a close up of the curve of the '2' as the giant red planet itself. As the camera pulls back, it is revealed to be the BBC 2 logo, complete with alien life! This ident was created and animated entirely in 3D. Winner of a Promax Gold Award.
