BBC World: Global Warning - trail (1999)

Concept and creative process

A striking image to trail a series of programmes on BBC World on the state of the Earth faced by global warming. The creative idea for this sequence was originally inspired by a Radiohead music promo in which the singer's helmet filled with water. The sequence was filmed at Banana Park Studios using a small water tank devised by Mike Tucker (BBC Visual Effects) and Complete Fabrications.
