Concept and creative process
A thick, metallic, many-stranded hawser, marked by worn blue paint and striations is twisted under force to form the curved '2', accentuated by the key light bouncing off its leading edge. The hawser unwinds, reverting to its start position, where the light again picks out the curve of the '2'.
