Concept and creative process
'Rhythm & Movement' was the theme for all BBC One idents from 2002 to 2006, designed and produced by Lambie-Nairn. It was explored through a great variety of activities from t’ai chi to tap dance, from skateboarding to salsa in many locations throughout the UK. The idea was a celebration of people from all walks of life, coming together in a joint activity. ‘Acrobat’ was filmed in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Halls with acrobats in white performing gracefully with long red silk sashes, reinforcing the BBC One brand colour.
