Concept and creative process
Barbara Woodhouse presented ‘Barbara’s World of Horses and Ponies', a programme about horses and her particular methods of communicating with them. The opening titles were a trail for the programmes to come, with the sans serif credit titles superimposed over the shots reversed out of yellow squares and rectangles with a drop shadow. They were filmed on a rostrum camera to create the movement and mattes for the final film optical.
