Opening titles for an educational live-action series for pre-school children, based around the island community of Balamory in Scotland. This extended sequence performed the function of introducing all of the people of Balamory that would feature in the series and their places of work or residence, skilfully matching and mixing out of the 3D CGI rendered version and into the live action scenes. The opening sequence, showing the approach by ferry boat and the actual island location of the town, is pure CGI.
