Antenna (1989)

Concept and creative process

Titles, designed by Paul D’Auria, for ‘Antenna’, a monthly science programme dealing with controversial issues in Science, Technology and Medicine. The representative images of the different areas of scientific interest emerged out of three-dimensional relief models rendered to resemble sand, which in turn became the physical object or living being the models represented. The sequence was animated in CGI with live action shots composited together with the matching computer-generated sand-textured forms.
