Sunil Pawar for The Wellcome Collection
Sunil’s work draws deeply from personal experience, including his diagnosis at nineteen with a rare form of epilepsy. LIVE WELL animates five of his paintings, blending digitally painted canvases with footage from Romania’s Făgăraș Mountains to evoke the disorienting “blips” associated with his condition. The film is scored by Hollywood composer Paul Haslinger, further elevating its impact.
Sunil Pawar quote
