Ravensbourne's Class of 2026 Shine at Student Showcase Awards
Ravensbourne University London marked the start of its 2026 Annual Student Showcase with a glittering awards ceremony on Thursday 4 June, honouring the outstanding achievements of this year's graduating cohort in what proved to be a truly memorable evening.
The Ravensbourne building buzzed with energy as hundreds of guests - including proud families, friends, industry professionals and friend - gathered to celebrate not only the award winners but the full breadth of student work on display across all nine floors. For many families, it was a chance to witness firsthand the extraordinary talent their loved ones have developed, making for an atmosphere that was as emotional as it was inspiring.
Vice Chancellor Jon Kingsbury opened the ceremony reflecting on a remarkable year - one that saw students collaborate with global names including L'Oréal, Kopparberg, Uncommon Creative Studio and the Zaha Hadid Foundation, and contribute to a world-first student-led global broadcast connecting 18 institutions across six continents.

Trudy Siaw Coffie took home the Vice Chancellor's Award for Creativity for her project Open Mic Works - a beautifully considered adaptive reuse design that breathes new life into a historic building while championing community, inclusivity, and sustainability. We asked how it felt to be recognised, and she told us:
Trudy Siaw Coffie quote
I wasn't expecting it and I am very proud. My award was against the whole university — being named this is something I'm very proud of.”
The Vice Chancellor Awards - aligned with Ravensbourne's core values - also crowned Henriette Lingden for Sustainability, Jordan Wynter for Inclusion, and Róisín Kerr for Achievement in Industry, with presentations from industry partners Accept & Proceed, Uncommon Creative Studio and Zurich.
Fourteen awards were presented across three categories. The Head of Department Awards recognised industry-standard excellence, with standout winners including Nikol Yeremieva in Architecture, Euan Coveney in Design, and Georgiana Istrătescu in Film, TV and Media. The Executive Dean Awards honoured outstanding academic progress, celebrating Maria Ivan, Jack Brassington and Alba Merida for their resilience and dedication, with many more brilliant names included.
Students' Union President Elect Pooja Gautam brought the ceremony to a heartfelt close before guests spilled upstairs for drinks, canapés and the initimate viewing of numerous works of our brilliant students - a fitting finale to an evening that perfectly captured everything Ravensbourne stands for: creativity, ambition, and an unshakeable sense of community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring celebration, and congratulations once again to all of our award winners. We are certain that the passion and potential you've demonstrated will create a lasting impact across the industries you go on to shape.
