
Greg Bunbury
Biography
Greg Bunbury is a graphic designer, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) consultant, educator, writer, and former marketing agency Head of Creative.
With more than 25 years of professional practice, he has developed award-winning campaigns, brand identities, and inclusive communications for organisations and purpose-driven enterprises. His clients have included Unilever, WWF, Universal Music, Penguin Books, Sony Music, Global Radio, Harvard University Press, The Global Goals and others across cultural and commercial sectors.
Bunbury is the founder of the Black Outdoor Art project, an initiative that repurposed billboard space to platform Black British creativity. The project received international recognition, with works acquired by the V&A Museum and coverage from the BBC, Design Week, and Eye Magazine to name a few. He has subsequently extended this work into educational workshops for schools in London and the South East.
Committed to widening participation in the creative industries, Bunbury delivers workshops, courses, and mentorship programmes in collaboration with organisations such as Black Cultural Archives, JKR, and In Place of War. He has served as a judge for the Design Week Awards, as jury president for the D&AD New Blood Awards, and contributed research and writing to the Bloomsbury Handbook of Global Typography. He has also lectured in design at the University of Reading and London Metropolitan University.
