Dudley Nganjo BA

Biography

Dudley is a lecturer at Ravensbourne University, specialising in film and cinematography. His teaching focuses on developing practical skills, creative confidence, and a clear understanding of how ideas translate into visual outcomes across different forms of media.

Alongside his academic role, Dudley works across commercial and corporate projects, producing story led visual content for a range of clients including Billionaire Boys Club, JD Sports, The O2, Sony, Google, and Heart Radio. His work spans branded content, digital media, and narrative driven pieces, with an emphasis on clarity, execution, and storytelling that connects with contemporary audiences.

His practice is rooted in making, developing ideas into tangible outcomes, which directly informs his teaching approach. He encourages students to engage with process, experimentation, and iteration, helping them build their own voice through doing rather than relying solely on theory. This approach allows students to understand not just what to create, but how and why their work functions within a wider media landscape.

Through both his professional practice and teaching, Dudley aims to bridge the gap between industry and education, supporting students in developing work that is both creatively grounded and practically relevant.
