To help you prepare for the course, we encourage you to engage with a variety of news and media content before you arrive. Stay curious, explore different perspectives, and begin thinking about the stories that matter most to you and your communities.

Laptop requirements 

Please see our laptop requirements document to ensure you have a device that will be suitable for your studies. If you already have a device and aren't sure if it's suitable speak to your course team during your First Week. 

Your course welcome week activities will be taking place on the following dates. This is a really important time for you to meet fellow students, your course team and become part of the Ravensbourne community. These sessions will cover key information about your course and everything you need to set you up for your studies.  

Thursday 17 September: 10.30am – 4.30pm, room R2-302 

Friday 18 September: 10.00am – 4.00pm, room R2-302

All activities will take place in our R2 building: Ravensbourne University London, 4 Appleby Yard, London, SE10 0BJ

Students’ Union Welcome Festival 

Your Students' Union team is currently working on putting together a fantastic Welcome Festival, full details of all events will be released in September. To keep track of all SU events and to buy tickets visit: ravesu.org/happenings

Your teaching starts in the week commencing Monday 21 September. You will have three teaching sessions each week as follows: 

Monday, 9.00am - 1.00pm, R1 Building - room R1-201+2 & R1-203

Tuesday, 9.00am - 1.00pm, R2 Building - room R2-302    

Tuesday, 2.00pm - 6.00pm, R2 Building - room R2-302    

Occasionally your timetable might get updated due to a room or other change.

If you have any questions ahead of joining us, our online drop-in sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays, 1.00pm - 2.00pm UK Time.
