To help you prepare for starting the course please spend some time doing the following:

In the first few weeks we will be looking at some of these points in more detail. During induction you will be asked to work on a mini project in small groups, and this information will help you. 

As you browse the internet and social media over the coming days and weeks, take some screenshots of any marketing examples you come across which you think are particularly good, or particularly bad. We will have a look at them when you arrive at Ravensbourne. Try to think about why you think they are good (or bad) and make some notes so you don’t forget! 

Course equipment 

This course does not require specialist equipment other than a laptop.

Your course welcome week activities will be taking place on the following dates. This is a really important time for you to meet fellow students, your course team and become part of the Ravensbourne community. These sessions will cover key information about your course and everything you need to set you up for your studies.  

Monday 16 September, 10.00am - 5.00pm, room 604

Tuesday 17 September, 11.00am - 5.00pm, room 604

Friday 20 September: 11.00am - 12.00pm, online (invite will be emailed to you)

If you’re an international student, it is important that you attend in this week to complete your enrolment, get all the information you need to best prepare your for studying in the UK and meet fellow international students on your course. 

Friday 13 September: 11.30am - 12.00pm - In-Person Enrolment

Once you have completed your in-person enrolment you will be able to attend one of our International Induction sessions. Please plan to spend the day on campus with us.

Your teaching starts in the week commencing Monday 23 September. This semester you will have three teaching sessions.

Wednesday, 9.00am - 1.00pm, room 903 - R1 Building

Thursday, 9.00am - 1.00pm, room 211 - R1 Building

Thursday, 2.00pm - 6.00pm, room 702 - R1 Building

Occasionally your timetable might get updated due to a room or other change.

If you have any questions ahead of joining us, our online drop-in sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays, 1.00pm - 2.00pm UK Time.
