Join us at Ravensbourne University London to work with tutors and current students to develop and build your portfolio or showreel and get it ready to best show off your skills.
This is a four week development project designed to help students aged 16+ develop a portfolio ready for university applications.
Over four weeks, you will build a portfolio ready for your application to undergraduate creative courses from one of the following course areas:
- Fashion
- Photography
- Games and Animation
- Architecture
- Design
- Film
Sessions take place on Saturdays on the following dates:

Who can take part in Assemble?
Assemble is designed to support any learners looking to study a creative course at University, aged 16+.
The project is designed to support learners who may have barriers to their education, in particular:
- First-generation students: The first in your immediate family to attend university.
- Care-experienced or estranged (CEES): Individuals who have spent time in care or are estranged from family support.
- Carers: Those with primary caring responsibilities for family members or relatives.
- Disabled and neurodivergent individuals: Including those with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, neurodivergent conditions, or specific learning difficulties (SpLD).
- Global majority: Belonging to ethnically diverse communities.
- Low-income backgrounds: Coming from a household with an annual income below £30,000, or having been eligible for free school meals during secondary education.
- Mature learners: Students aged 21 or over.
- Students in receipt of free school meals: anyone who has received free school meals at any point in the last 6 years.
