In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the role of architects in crating our built environment through creative model-making and emerging digital technologies.
Working collaboratively, you'll recreate parts of the Greenwich Peninsula as a series of cardboard architectural models, before using cutting-edge 3D scanning technology to digitally document and archive your work. Along the way, you'll gain practical insight into the design process and experience Ravensbourne University's innovative approach to learning.

Who can attend?
This workshop is suitable for all Year 12-13 students, including Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC learners, with an interest in architecture, design, technology and the built environment.
What you'll do
During this interactive session, you'll:
- Create a physical architectural model inspired by the Greenwich Peninsula
- Learn essential model-making techniques used by architects and designers
- Explore how digital technologies are transforming the built environment
- Use LiDAR-enabled 3D scanning technology to capture and archive your work
- Experience a university-level creative workshop in a professional studio environment
