Before your graduation ceremony

Graduation Tickets

Your graduation ticket is free. 

It includes: 

• Entry to your ceremony 
• A printed programme 
• A glass of prosecco or a soft drink at the reception 

Your invitation email will explain how to book your graduation ticket, guest tickets, gown hire and photography through Ede & Ravenscroft Graduation Services. 

Guests Tickets 

Guest tickets are £25 each. All tickets include a complimentary glass of prosecco or soft drink. Guest tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We will email you when tickets become available to book.  

Additional guest tickets may be available to buy on the day at the Barbican. They will remain the same price £25 per guest ticket.

Refunds

We understand that plans can change. 

You can cancel your gown hire and/or guest ticket booking up to eight working days before your ceremony and receive a full refund. Please check Ede & Ravenscroft's terms and conditions for full details. 

To request a refund, complete the Ede & Ravenscroft contact form and a member of their team will be in touch. 

You will collect your gown on the day of the ceremony at The Barbican. 

Please bring your Ede & Ravenscroft booking reference number with you. You will need to show this when collecting your gown. 

Gown collection opens two hours before the ceremony, giving you plenty of time to get ready and take photographs.

Studio photography

Professional photography by Ede & Ravenscroft is available on the day at the Barbican. 

We recommend booking your photography in advance to avoid queues on the day.  

Within 24 to 48 hours after the ceremony, you will be sent a link to the photography ordering portal from Ede & Ravenscroft. There you can review photos and select the image for each product you have ordered.  

Stage Photography

A professional photograph will be taken as you cross the stage during the ceremony. 

You can purchase: 

• Digital photograph only – £10 
• Photograph in presentation mount – £20 

Stage photographs are usually available online within 7 to 10 working days after the ceremony. Once ordered, photography products will be delivered within six weeks after the ceremony at which they were taken or four weeks after they were ordered, whichever is the latter.

The University entered a concession contract with our current gowning and photography suppliers and receives a commission from the hire and sale of academic dress/photography purchases. 
 

Stage videos

We’ve partnered with MyGraduationClip to offer our graduating students the ability to purchase a personalised video highlighting your special graduation moment center stage. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate your successes and achievements! You can buy your GraduationClip before or after the ceremony via the online platform. 

25/26 Ravensbourne University London Graduates may be eligible to apply for the Ravensbourne Graduation Bursary.

The bursary can help cover: 

• Guest tickets 
• Gown hire 
• Graduation photography 
• Travel costs in some circumstances 

Eligibility

Students must:

• have graduated from a Ravensbourne taught undergraduate degree course in 2025/26 academic year
• have paid home tuition fees of £9535 in 25/26 academic year
• have been invited to attend a Graduation Ceremony in 2026/27
• have a household income is £25,000 or less, 
• have accessed the maximum maintenance loan support available to them from the Student Loans Company in 2025/26 academic year

• Your student finance statement for 2025/26

The bursary is only available to Home Undergraduate students studying at Ravensbourne University London. It is not available to international students, postgraduate students, Morley College students, or students from City & Guilds of London Art School.
