Stuart Stockdale BA, MA(RCA), PGCE, FHEA
Biography
Stuart is a Senior Lecturer at Ravensbourne and a creative consultant, a graduate of Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, with a rich career at the top level of the fashion industry.
He has worked as Creative Director for a number of high-end and middle-market fashion, heritage and lifestyle brands globally, across all major fashion capitals: working in Milan for Romeo Gigli, Paris for Jean Paul Gaultier (couture and ready-to-wear), New York for J.Crew, and London as Creative Director for Pringle of Scotland and Jaeger. He was also tasked by the major Chinese brand group JNBY, with creating a new brand for their growing market.
Over many years he has designed and art directed catwalk shows at Milan and London Fashion Weeks. His passion for heritage has shaped a fifteen-year relationship with Kensington Palace, researching their archive and designing their front-of-house uniforms.
His work has received extensive international press coverage across all major publications, and he has promoted the fashion brands he has directed worldwide.
