Samuel Onalo PhD, MSc, PgCHPE, BSc, FHEA

Dr Samuel Onalo is Course Leader for Cyber Security at Ravensbourne, where he leads the strategic direction of the undergraduate cyber security programme. A PhD graduate from Kingston University in Blockchain Security Overlay Architectures, he specialises in applied cryptography, distributed ledger technology, and Web3 infrastructure.

Dr Onalo brings extensive experience bridging academia and industry, having previously taught at Kingston University and the University of Staffordshire London, worked with BitcoinSV's Nchain UK and consulted for Nugi Technologies Ltd. on blockchain adoption and emerging tech integration. His research has led to further publications on hybrid blockchain architectures.

With a background spanning engineering, technology, and education, Dr Onalo is passionate about delivering industry-aligned, hands-on training that prepares students for careers in cyber security.
