Michelle Wenham Director of People and Culture - BA (Hons), MA, Dip. HRM, Dip. Mgmt, Chartered MCIPD

Michelle Wenham joined Ravensbourne University London in March 2026 as Interim Director of People & Culture, taking on the permanent role in June 2026.

Michelle is responsible for key aspects of our values-based approach to our people. This includes developing our people strategy, encompassing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion - as well as managing the full employee lifecycle, including culture development, Learning and Development, and change management.

Michelle will reach 30 years in senior HR roles next year, with experience spanning Russell Group universities, start-ups, and teaching-focused higher education providers, alongside education and regulatory environments.

Prior to joining Ravensbourne, Michelle was Chief Operating Officer at a Multi-Academy Trust. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and holds a master’s degree from the University of Leicester in Employee Relations & Employment Law. She has three adult children and enjoys travelling.
