Mathew Brown BA (Hons) PGCE MA

Biography

Mathew has worked as an educator and Product Design Practitioner for over two decades. He gained a BA (Hons) Degree from Ravensbourne in 1999 - followed by a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from Greenwich University and an MA in Professional Practice (Design) from Kingston University London.

As part of his pedagogical development, he is currently studying to become a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Mathew has previously taught at the University of East London (UEL) and the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) in Kent and Surrey.

In addition to having significant expertise as a lecturer working in both FE and HE, he has worked as a self-employed design consultant for clients that have included: ASB Architects, Herman Miller, John Lewis PLC, Schneider Electric and The Conran Shop. He has also exhibited his work at high profile trade fairs and exhibitions such as 100% Design London.
