Kevin Chalmers BEng (Hons), PhD, SFHEA, CEng, FBCS, CITP

Kevin is the Executive Dean for the new School of Computing, Architecture, and Emerging Technologies at Ravensbourne University London, and lead executive for the student journey and further education.

As Deputy Dean at the University of Roehampton, Kevin spearheaded the development of innovative computing programs, growing student numbers by 800% in one year, and welcoming over 1000 students within five years to become the second largest subject area at Roehampton accounting for almost 15% of the total on-campus student body.

Kevin has leadership roles at the British Computer Society (BCS) where he is currently Vice President (Community) and the Council of Professors and Heads of Computing, and is a member of various working groups and committees for the BCS, Engineering Council, and other bodies. Kevin is an advocate for IT professionalism and curriculum innovation. He is passionate about bridging academia and industry, and works toward setting global standards for computing education.
