Biography
Farzana Sharmin Mou is a sessional lecturer at Ravensbourne University London and an EPSRC-funded PhD researcher at Brunel University London. Her doctoral research focuses on applying deep learning for the early detection and progression modelling of dementia.
She holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering. Her academic and professional interests span artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, big data analytics, and cloud computing. Drawing on both research and industry experience, she integrates practical, real-world applications into her teaching and promotes an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
