Dr Tim Brailsford BSc, MSc, PhD

Tim Brailsford is an academic leader with over 30 years’ experience in higher education in the UK and internationally. 

He is a computer scientist with interests in educational technology, educational technology, and interdisciplinary digital practice, with a strong focus on curriculum innovation, research development, and industry engagement.

Tim has been a Head of Department at University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, University West of England, Bristol and the Dean of Science and Engineering at University of Kurdistan Hêwler. He is an award-winning teacher and his research interests include artificial intelligence, human–computer interaction, and digital education. He has published extensively and supervised various doctoral researchers.
