Dr Annette Richardson BA, MA, PHD
Biography
Annette Richardson has taught widely across lens based media, cultural studies, art and fashion theory, games development and games art in and higher education.
Specialising in practice-based research, Annette is an experienced lecturer in creative design and visual storytelling. At the heart of her practice is a belief in the importance of building confidence in creative production and embracing the challenge of problem-solving in design through flexible thinking.
Annette holds a BA in Fine Art from Kingston University, MA in History of Art with Photography (Distinction) from London Birkbeck, alongside a PGCE (Post-Compulsory) in Art & Design from Greenwich University. She is currently working on her PHD on the Aesthetics of Lustre in the Fashion Image in the 1930s.
