Anthony Croudass Executive Director of Infrastructure & Operations - BSc (Hons), MSc, CITP, FBCS

Biography

Anthony is Executive Director of Infrastructure & Operations, with responsibility for the university's physical and digital infrastructure, including Property Services, Estates & Facilities, Health & Safety, IT Services, Enterprise Applications and Cyber Security.

Anthony has spent 15 years in senior leadership roles in higher education. This included nine years at UCL, where he led two high-value portfolios across Research IT and Estates as part of the multi-billion-pound Transforming UCL initiative.

He then led the delivery and launch of the London City Institute of Technology at Queen Mary University of London, a £30m grant-funded joint venture with Newham College of Further Education. Anthony joined Ravensbourne in December 2022 as Director of IT, becoming Chief Information Officer in 2024.

His career began with six years in the Royal Air Force as a Communications Specialist, serving on the Tactical Communications Wing and regularly deploying worldwide. He later moved into Healthcare IT, leading technical delivery across primary care and medical imaging, working for both software vendors and healthcare providers.

Anthony holds an MSc in Cyber Security and a BSc (Hons) in Technology and is a Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS). He is also a member of the British Computer Society's Employer Advisory Board, advising on how the BCS can meet the needs of a rapidly changing IT industry.
