Renting in the Private Sector
Ravensbourne has partnered with the University of London Housing Services (ULHS) to offer our students support in finding accommodation in the private sector.
The ULHS offers advice on how to find accommodation, which areas to consider, what the options are, pricing and more. Their new property platform and app makes finding a property much easier, putting all student accommodation options in one place, including private landlords, agents and private halls.
Students will be able to sign their contracts and pay rent/deposits through the platform, and all the providers will be vetted, so they can feel confident they’re renting from a genuine provider.
There is no pre-registration, but students can get the latest info by signing up to their mailing list.
ULHS offer a free contract checking service which allows students to have their contracts for private accommodation checked before they sign and also offer legal advice should our students get into any difficulty in private accommodation.
