Student consent and sexual misconduct support
Guidance around our training and support services
From September 2025 Ravensbourne is expanding how we support students around issues of sexual consent and misconduct.
Students, staff, parents and others can see details of how complaints and concerns around sexual misconduct are managed here.
Further support information and guidance around many areas of abuse, control and safeguarding can found through our safeguarding hub on Ravensbourne's Safeguarding services.
Guidance and support for new students
Ravensbourne also asks newly enrolled students to join online training and advice sessions provided through our partnership with Survivors Network. These build upon our established inductions and content to support students understanding of these complex issues and help ensure they are aware of support available.
These sessions are mandatory but if students feel they should not be required to attend the sessions then the process to let Student Services know is available on the intranet.
Students can also see more information on the sessions provided by Survivors Network and detailed guidance around consent and misconduct on our consent intranet pages here.
Further information
More information on safeguarding, consent issues, support available and details of how concerns are managed can be seen in our safeguarding hub here.
