In this hands-on subject taster day, you’ll explore the creative process behind game art and get a taste of what it’s like to develop ideas for the games industry. Through practical activities, you’ll experiment with visual storytelling, creative problem-solving and the processes used to take an initial idea towards a game-ready concept.
Whether you’re already creating your own artwork or are simply curious about how games are made, this session is an opportunity to get creative, try something new and explore where studying Games Art could take you.

Who can attend?
This workshop is suitable for students aged 16 and over, including Level 2 and Level 3 learners, with an interest in games, art, illustration, character and environment design.

- Discover how ideas are developed into visual concepts
