Opening titles for a series in which David Attenborough and a team from London Zoo travel in search of exotic animals. Their aim is to capture them and bring them back to the UK to exhibit in the zoo. David Attenborough sets out to film and capture rare animals in the forests of what was then British Guiana. The titles were filmed from printed captions on a rostrum camera and superimposed over the aerial shots of Guiana in a film optical.
