Zig Zag (1996)

Concept and creative process

Opening titles for ‘Zig Zag’, a Schools programme for 7-9 year-olds, investigating aspects of geography and history in the UK and around the world. For this sequence the music was changed and John Butler’s generic design for the ‘Zig Zag’ logo was adapted to include specific images relating to the programme content in the concertina folds. The titles were created in 3D computer-generated animation and the images were composited in post-production.
