Concept and creative process
Opening titles for ‘Young Musician of the Year’, a national music competition, broadcast biennially on BBC Television, presented by Sarah Greene. The concept for the 1994 title sequence explored a different literal strand of thought and the whole sequence was filmed with very young musicians participating and playing instruments in a large youth orchestra, with the final chord played by a solo violinist.
