‘This Week Next Week’ was a series of weekly news programmes in which David Dimbleby looked behind the headlines in conversation with distinguished guests. The programme logo and the wrapper was the work of Ralph Steadman, whose self-portrait caricature is seen as part of the sequence. The concept was a stamped addressed brown paper package tearing open to reveal successive layers of its contents and finally the studio.
