Top Of The Pops Awards (2002)

Concept and creative process

The ‘Top of the Pops Awards’ ceremony 2002, celebrating the very best in pop from the preceding twelve months was held at the Manchester Evening Standard Arena and hosted by Ronan Keating. The ten awards included categories for top pop, R & B, dance, and rock performers, as well as nominations for best tour, album and single. The titles for the event featured a CGI reflective metallic version of the ‘TOTP’ logo being lauded with a computer-generated sash and crown.
