Opening titles for ‘Think of a Number’, a light-hearted exploration of numbers and science for children, presented by Johnny Ball, who appears to be enjoying his own show and invites his young viewers to join him. Inside a graphic profile shape of the presenter’s head a countdown of numbers and objects from 9-0 is taking place, culminating in the programme title. The footage of the title sequence was shot live action in a studio and the artwork filmed on a rostrum camera, composited together in a film optical.
