Concept and creative process
Titles for a series of children's story-telling programmes ‘Telling Tales’, presented by Philip Hawthorn and offering ancient tales with a modern message. The programmes were shown weekly as short items in the ‘But First This on 2’ magazine programme. The opening titles combined drawn illustrated backgrounds of ancient texts with live action elements shot on green screen in a studio. The title logo was animated to float up off the page of an opening book of tales.
