Titles for a series where nine of Britain's legendary sporting champions come out of retirement to compete in this multi-sport contest, with the added chance of meeting today's top sportsmen in the final. Events included canoeing, swimming, cycling, weightlifting, basketball & running. A pixellated animated countdown established the ‘Superstars’ logo and set the style for the treatment of the live action sequences that followed, before linking back to the ‘S’ logo for the programme title.
