Roy's Top Ten (2003)

Concept and creative process

Titles for programmes in which Roy Noble tries to find the best, funniest, most moving BBC Wales programme and looks at five contenders. The title sequence acts as a vehicle to trail the content, with Roy Noble himself electronically dropped into each programme clip. The contenders are displayed on animated TV screens against a digitally animated background of coloured graphic shapes and lines reminiscent of TV ‘shash’. The latter device is also used to transition between clips on the screens and ultimately to the programme title logo.
