Concept and creative process
The brief was to produce a generic title sequence that could be used for either 'Pot Black' or 'Junior Pot Black'. Quick cutting 35mm film live action of a snooker table clearance was filmed at Caravel Film Studios, starting with the referee placing the ball and finishing with the last black being potted. Animated graphics and lighting effects were created on video.
