Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a series of annual snooker tournaments held in the UK between 1969 and 1986. The sequence consisted of a live action shot of the Pot Black Championship trophy and close-up shots of snooker action. The programme title was superimposed on the black ball and frozen frames of the action were used for other credit backgrounds, all added in the edit.
